NEW
YEAR SPIRIT
December 27th to January
5th was holiday in Hokudai. All activities in campus change rapidly,
the street that usually crowded by vehicles and pedestrian become silent at
that time.
These
pictures was taken on January 3th
Almost all students in Hokudai
spend years end holiday in their home town for visiting family. They also pray
in 神社 (Jinja) a Shinto shrine
and make a wish for the New Year. Like me a foreigner student, there was no
choice beside spent years end holiday in dormitory, chit chat with Indonesian
friends and sometimes walk around for sightseeing, I also went to my laboratory
to do something. Now year end holiday already finished and we are ready to back
to routines activities, absolutely with the new spirit.
